Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi

“Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi” nin ilk adımları 2008 yılında atıldı, 2009 yılında yola çıkıldı. Başlangıçta yola çıkanlara ek olarak yeni sanatçılarla bağını kurmakta ve büyümektedir. Sanatın ve sanatçının göçebe olduğuna inanan ve onaylayan grup; birikimini her durakda yollarının kesiştiği ile paylaşıyor.
“Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi” süreç içinde farklı mekanlarda, yeni sanatçıların ve üretimlerinin sunumlarıyla gelişen uluslararası bir inisiyatifdir. Proje; göç süreci, göçebelik ve değişkenlerinin toplumdaki etkisi üzerine irdeleme yapma arzusundan kaynaklandı. Proje için birlikte olan sanatçılar; göç sürecinin küresel boyutuna değinen yeni işler üretiyor. “Göçebe”, pek çok sanatçının değişik aşamalarda katkıda bulunduğu bir proje.
Bu oluşumun ilgi alanı, toplumun içinde bulunduğu dönüşümü gözlemlemek, anlamak ve sanatçılar aracılığıyla müdahalede bulunmaktır.

Independent Immigrants Artists Initiative

The first steps of Independent Immigrants Artists Initiative have been taken in 2008; in 2009 the Initiavive is really taking off. Today it is bonding and expanding with new artists added to its first crew. As a group which believes and approves that art and artists are immigrants,it shares its experiences with the people it comes across with, at each stop.
Independent Immigrants Artists Initiative is an international initiative which grows by the presentations of new artists and their productions, at different places, through the process. This project is the result of a passion to scrutinize the process of immigraiton, being an immigrant and the effects of its variables on societies. The artists who are a part of this project are producing works which refer to the global side of immigraiton process. "Immigrant" is a project which many artists contribute at its different stages.
The formation's field of interest is to observe and understand the transformation in the society and get involved by means of artists.

Plastik sanatların farklı disiplinlerinden sanatçılar bu İnisiyatif'te bir araya gelerek; sanatın göçerliği üzerinden her durakta yeni sanatçıları bünyesine alıp, çok kültürlü, çok uluslu bir yapı olmayı hedeflemektedir. Oluşumun ilgi alanı, toplumun içinde bulunduğu dönüşümü gözlemlemek, anlamak ve sanatçılar aracılığıyla müdahalede bulunmaktır.
"Paylaşma" da; Gazi Sansoy, Gül Bolulu, Tahsin Çorbacı, Süreyya Oskay, Çetin Pireci, Arzu Çorbacı, Müjgan Atukalp, Serdar Çongar ve Deniz Pireci bugüne kadar yaptıkları ve yapmadıklarını paylaşıyorlar, yorumluyorlar. Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi bu sergi ile geleceğe dair ipuçları veriyor ve yeni bakış açıları oluşturuyor.

Independent Immigrants Artists Initiative is in Utopya Platform between 4-31 march with their new works which are their shares between them and the watchers.
In this inititive; artists came from different plastique art diciplines for the same aim. The aim is; being an extensive culture and nationality. The formation's field of interest is to observe and understand the transformation in the society and get involved by means of artists.
In this "Sharing" Gazi Sansoy, Gul Bolulu, Tahsin Corbacı, Sureyya Oskay, Cetin Pireci, Arzu Corbacı, Mujgan Atukalp, Serdar Congar and Deniz Pireci are sharing and interpreting their committeds and unachievables.
In this exhibition Independent Immigrant Artists Initiative is giving hints and creating aspects for the future.

İKLİM GÖÇÜ

Uzmanlar, küresel ısınmanın yol açacağı iklim göçlerinin, 2050 yılına kadar çevresel etkenler sebebiyle 200 milyon insanı mülteci konumuna getireceğini bildiriyor. Önümüzdeki on yıllarda iklim değişikliği yaşanabilir bir yer bulmak isteyen milyonlarca insanı evlerini terketmeye zorlayacaktır.

Çölleşmeden sellere, deniz seviyesinin yükselmesinden, % 40 oranında sayısı azalacak hayvan ve bitki türleriyle ekosistemin çökmesine, kıtlık, kuraklık, salgın hastalıklar ve savaşların şiddetlenerek artmasına kadar tüm canlıları etkileyecek büyük bir felakete neden olacaktır. Günümüz dünyasında kültürler ve uygarlıklar arasındaki çatışmaların, yaklaşan tehlike karşısında ne kadar önemsiz kalacağını öngörmek kehanet sayılmaz.

Bugün demokrasi havariliği yapan gelişmiş toplumlar, kaynak ve ekonomilerini, yeni çağın felaketine harcasalar, canlıların geleceğine hizmet edecek politikalar geliştirseler daha hümanist bir adım atmış olurlar. Gelişmiş toplumlar, bugün yaşanan göçmenlerle ilgili sosyal, psikolojik, kentsel, politik vs. tüm sorunlara daha da karmaşık ve çözümsüz sorunların ekleneceğini unutmamalılar.

İklim göçü yaşanabilir bölgelerde mülkiyet sorunlarından, ulusal güvenlikle ilgili çatışmalara ve kentlerdeki altyapıların çökmesine kadar yeni sorun alanları açarak, güneyden kuzeye doğru ikinci bir kavimler göçünün başlaması anlamına gelecektir. Bu yeni coğrafyaların ve siyasi haritaların oluşması anlamına gelir ki zira bir çok ada ülkesi ve kıyıülkeleri sular altında kalacaktır.

CLIMATIC IMMIGRATION

Authorities announce that approximately 200 million people will become refugees by the year 2050 due to several environmental factors as a result of climatic immigration caused by global warming. Climate change will force millions of people to abondon their homes in search of more habitable areas in the upcoming decades.

Desertification, floods, rising of sea level, %40 decrease in animal and plant species which will cause the collapse of complete ecosystem followed by famine and drought; pandemic diseases and the increase of fierce wars will be the vital consequences of this immense catastrophe. Foreseeing the insignificance of conflicts among the present cultures and civilizations compared to this approaching catastrophe, certainly will be not a prophecy.

Today's developed communities serving as the disciples of democracy would take a more humanistic step towards a better world by developing new policies which will serve the future of all living beings by preserving their sources and economy to prevent this terrifying catastrophe of this new era.

Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi, göç, göçebelik, göçmenlik kavramlarını referans alarak, oluşturulan bir sanatçı örgütlenmesidir.

Göç üzerinden, kent ve sosyolojisi hakkında sorgulama yapmak , inisiyatif üyelerinin biraraya gelme nedenidir. Bu oluşumun ilgi alanı, toplumun içinde bulunduğu dönüşümü gözlemlemek, anlamak ve yorumlar üreterek gerektiğinde sanat diliyle müdahalede bulunmak üzere göç temasıyla tanımlıdır. Plastik sanatların farklı disiplinlerinden sanatçılar bu oluşumda biraraya gelerek, göçün siyasi, ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel etkilerini sorguladıkları yapıtlarıyla yer almaktadırlar. Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi, İstanbul'dan başlayarak, "her yerde sanat" sloganıyla, Türkiye ve dünyanın çeşitli yerlerinde sergiler yapmayı ve sanatın göçerliği üzerinden her durakta yeni sanatçıları bünyesine alarak, çok kültürlü, çok uluslu bir yapı olmayı hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda Göçebe; "BULUŞMA / MEETING" adlı ikinci sergisini Mardin Müzesi' nde Mardin Bienali ile eşzamanlı olarak yapacaktır.
Kent yaşamının önemli dinamiklerinden biri olarak göç, farklı coğrafyalarda farklı etkiler yaratarak, kapsamına aldığı yerleri değiştirmekde ve oluşturduğu yeniliklerin etkisi, değişimin hızı farkedilmeksizin toplum tarafından sindirilmektedir. Bu da kontrol dışı bir canlılık ve cazibe yaratmaktadır. "Göcebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi" göçe maruz kalan her yerde, "Göç" temalı sergiler yapmayı ve aynı zamanda, her gidilen bölgedeki sanatçılarla işbirliği yaparak, gerçekleşecek sergilerde, sanatçı katılım ve temsil kapasitesini esnek tutmayı hedeflemektedir. "BULUŞMA / MEETING" sergisi de Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi' ni İstanbul ve Mardin' den katılan farklı disiplinlerdeki sanatçılarla biraraya getirdi. Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi' ne bu sergi için İstanbul' dan katılan sanatçıların yanısıra, Mardin' li 3 sanatçının da katılımı ve güçbirliği ile oluşturulan "BULUŞMA" ya paralel olarak Göçebe; Mardin' de farklı disiplinlerle ilgili atölye çalışmaları da yürütecektir.

Göçebe Bağımsız Sanatçı İnisiyatifi, Kesişme adlı ilk sergisiyle izleyicilerle buluşuyor.
İstanbul 2010 Kültür Başkenti Projelerinden biri olan “Konstantinapolis’ den İstanbul’ a” kapsamında, İstanbul Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü' nün ev sahipliğinde gerçekleşecek olan sergide, göçün siyasi, ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel tüm sonuçlarının sorgulandığı yapıtlar yer almaktadır.
Plastik sanatların farklı disiplinlerinden sanatçılar bu İnisiyatif' te biraraya gelerek, göçün toplumsal etkilerini yorumladılar. Immigrants for years …
Most not in the city they were born to,
None in the house s/he was born to,
Neither rank nor class matters,
It’s in our blood to immigrate,
Even in the same city,
How many towns have we left behind?

The artists who are a part of this project are producing works which refer to the global side of immigraiton process. "Immigrant" is a project which many artists contribute at its different stages.
Immigration is one of the significant dynamics of daily life. On different parts of the world its different effects have been observed. Immigration seizes the land (culture) under its influence and changes it; these changes are accepted and digested by the society. And the speed of these changes, without making itself visible, creates a vivid atmosphere.
Immigration is a life style which is closer to natural. Having to achieve more with less is a natural constraint for immigrants. And this fact contructs their loose relationship with places.
An immigrant always looks as if tomorrow s/he is going to pack and leave her/his place, looks as if s/he is there only for a reason. That is because, knowing that it won't last forever, her/his mind has learned to do her/his plans for short runs. This is her/his way of looking at life.
The formation's field of interest is to observe and understand the transformation in the society and get involved at the intersection points by means of artists.
We have set out to represent our country abroad. With our new structure as “Independent Immigrant Artists’ Inititiave” we plan to have exhibitions on ‘Immigration’ from this day on. This inititiave will have an flexible form, outsiders will be able to join the exhibitions and upon request, they will we able to be a member of the group. The artists from the town the exhibitions will be held will be able to join the exhibitions temporarily, if they wish to. All our future exhibitions will be in this concept which means our aim will be not only a certain group of people but everyone in the world. Because this is a common problem, we aim to share the art we produce not only with a limited number of people but with a much bigger crowd. With our first exhibition which is going to be held in İstanbul in 2010, we are aiming to introduce the initiative to the press and the art circle. Our next step after İstanbul will be to take the exhibition to cities we are in contact with and to cities which we are invited to. This exhibition will travel Turkey and the other parts of the world. Our wildest dream is to use the gardens of the museums in cities of the world to pitch our tent and share our exhibition. So this is a long run project and we are at the start point yet. In short, as we immigrate as immigrants, our exhibition will immigrate with us. That’s why we are open to any city and every region. Our target is to tackle and share immigration as it is the root of the problems of socities.
